WEBINARS
We host quarterly webinars led by our Chief Investment Officer, Alvin G Yap, to provide clients and partners with timely insights into global markets, portfolio positioning, and macroeconomic developments.
These sessions are complimentary and open to all who wish to stay informed about market trends and our latest investment perspectives.
Participants will also have the opportunity to engage directly with Alvin during the Q&A segment.
PAST WEBINAR
Global markets are entering a new macroeconomic regime marked by slowing growth, diverging inflation trends, and the rising influence of government spending.
In the U.S., resilient consumption supported by AI investment and fiscal expansion continues despite softer labour data. Elsewhere, weaker growth and deflationary pressures are becoming more pronounced. As economic momentum slows, central banks globally are shifting toward rate cuts and easier monetary conditions.
This environment points to the rise of fiscal dominance, where persistent government spending, higher debt, and excess liquidity may support markets in the short term but increase longer-term risks such as asset inflation and market distortions.
